AR Bodies, Hoosier, Cometic Gasket, & Garrison Racing Equipment add to WC 300 Loot
Lap Money and Other Prizes Available for WC 300 Drivers
Track PR - JEFFERSON, GA  - The pot of gold for drivers and teams competing in the World Crown 300 Presented by Victory Junction continues to grow with the addition of contingency awards from AR Bodies, Cometic Gasket, and Garrison Racing Equipment.

On Friday, one lucky Super Late Model driver will win an 'A Package' racecar body courtesy of AR Bodies. The prize will be awarded in blind drawing at the Hoosier Racing Tire Qualifying Draw Party.

The event - open and free of charge to fans and competitors alike - will be held from 8:30-10:30 p.m. in the GMP Main Grandstand and Concession.

Also to be awarded at the Hoosier Racing Tire Qualifying Draw Party will be a set of Hoosier Racing Tires. Like the AR Bodies award, the prize will be awarded by blind draw and the driver must have submitted an entry form and be present at the party to win.

Friday's Hoosier Racing Tire Qualifying Draw Party will feature a lottery-style drawing that will determine the qualifying order for Saturday's 31st-Annual World Crown 300 Presented by Victory Junction.

This qualifying selection process should provide plenty of excitement as it will not only determine what position each driver will time trial in for Saturday's 300-lap racing classic, but it will also determine the order in which teams will select their tires for Saturday's event.

On Saturday, Cometic Gasket will provide top finishing drivers in all three divisions - Super Late Model, Trucks and Outlaw Late Models - a giant discount program on its line of race-tested engine products. Cometic will award 75-percent off entire order certificates to the first three finishers in each division, 50 percent off entire order certificates for positions fourth through sixth, and a 25 percent off entire order certificates for the seventh- and eighth-place finishers in each event.

Meanwhile, running up front in the World Crown 300 will earn drivers a cash bonus courtesy of Garrison Tire and Racing Equipment. Thanks to Garrison, an additional $50 cash award will be paid to the leader at Lap 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250 of this year's Crown.

"We can't thank Hoosier Racing Tires, AR Bodies, Cometic Gasket and Garrison Racing Equipment enough for their support - not only of the World Crown 300 Presented by Victory Junction - but for all the great things they do for GMP throughout the course of the season," stated Gresham Motorsports Park general manager John Close. "Having these extra awards are very important to our competitors who already have so much invested in their racing efforts."

The 2014 World Crown 300 will officially get underway on Wednesday, August 6 at Noon Eastern Time with the opening of the GMP campground area. Self Contained/Rough Camping is free of charge in GMP designated areas and is not permitted in the Infield Pit or Trackside Parking areas.

There will be a second optional test - again from 5-8:30 p.m. for all Super Late Model 'Crown' entries only - on Friday, August 8.

Both the Thursday and Friday test sessions are open for free fan viewing from the Gresham Motorsports Park Trackside Parking area.

Pit Passes for Saturday's 2014 World Crown 300 event are $35.

Meanwhile, Trackside Parking will open at 1 p.m. while the GMP Main Grandstand Ticket Gate will open at 4:30 p.m. ET.

Pole position qualifying for the World Crown 300 will roll off at 5:30 p.m. Fans can meet all the pole winners during an all-division, on-track autograph session before Opening Ceremonies - and the first race of this year's World Crown 300 - rolls off at 7 p.m. Included in Opening Ceremony highlights will be Nashville recording artist Colby Dee singing the National Anthem.
