First Round of TV Dates Announced for World Crown 300

Track PR - JEFFERSON, GA - The initial television dates for the World Crown 300 Presented by Victory Junction have been released.

The 31st-annual short-track Stock Car Racing classic held at Gresham Motorsports Park in Jefferson, GA since 1983 will debut at part of a GMP 'Tripleheader' this Saturday, August 30.

Fans who subscribe to the Comcast Mid Atlantic cable system will see the Larry Fleeman Memorial 100 (taped May 3 at GMP) at 3 p.m. Eastern. That will be followed by the Sunoco 125 Presented by Schoenfeld Headers (taped July 12 at GMP) at 4 p.m. followed by the television debut of the 31st-Annual World Crown 300 Presented by Victory Junction at 5 p.m. Eastern.

Comcast Mid Atlantic is delivered to more than 4.7 million households throughout the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore region of the United States. It is owned by the NBC Sports Group unit of NBCUniversal.

The network serves as the official television partner of the Washington Redskins, Washington Capitals, Chesapeake Bayhawks, Washington Wizards, D.C. United and Washington Mystics, as well as the home of the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Colonial Athletic Association.

The two-hour World Crown 300 telecast will also debut on the West Coast later that day as Cox 3 Orange County (Los Angeles) will air the 'Crown' in prime time at 7 p.m. PST.

The World Crown 300 - taped at GMP on August 9 - will make its Southern states debut on FOX SportSouth on Sunday, August 31. It'll be a 'two-fer' as FOX SportSouth will air the Sunoco 125 Presented by Schoenfeld Headers at 7 p.m. Eastern followed by the World Crown 300 Presented by Victory Junction in prime time at 8 p.m. Eastern.
