June 2014 billed as the Month of Late Model Racing at Montgomery Motor Speedway
SSS 125 Will Highlight Weekend
TRACK PR - For many years Montgomery Motor Speedway has been known for its quality racing and this June the speedway features two big late model events. June 14th the Pro Late Models will take center stage for twin 50 lap features.

will be tough competition for Robbins as the Southern Music and games sponsored driver led over 80 laps in the first pro late model contest of 2014. Montgomery’s Bill Bethea III will look to better his 3rd place finish and compete for the win in the twin 50 lap features.
“We are excited about this format” stated Track General Manager Stan Narrison “The drivers will have to get up on the wheel and not just ride around”. Drivers will qualify for their positions in the first 50 lap feature and then the top ten will redraw for starting position in the second feature.
The night will also feature a kids bike race along with Modified Minis and the fan favorite Uncle Bob’s Self Storage Street Stocks.
June 28th marks the return of the Southern Super Series to the Historic track. Fans were treated to quite a show on May 10th when the Super late model series last visited Montgomery Motor Speedway. NASCAR Nationwide Series
was on hand for the 125 lap event and looked like the Dawsonville driver was the one to beat till motor problems struck the #9 team. Donnie Wilson From Oklahoma City, Oklahoma had a strong run but it was Bubba Pollard
from Senoia, Georgia who took home the trophy and the $5000 winners check. The Yellowhammer 125 is shaping up to be one of the premier stops on the Southern Super Series schedule June 28th.
The track will offer a test and tune session the Friday before both late model events for teams to get a feel for the track June 13, 2014 and June 27, 2014 with gates opening at 4 and practice from 5-8.
Grandstand Tickets will be $15 for adults, $10 Seniors and Military $5 for children 6-12 and 5 and under are free.
